For more than 30 years Ted has been responsible for maintaining the pianos for The Canadian Opera Co. For 15 years he did the same for The National Ballet of Canada, and for much of that time, he also was principle Technician for the Toronto Downtown Jazz Festival. Since 1995 he has been responsible for the pianos at the annual 

Festival of the Sound in Parry Sound ON.

Ted has enjoyed working with a variety of wonderful clients, both amateur and professional. In addition to tuning for consumers, churches, recording studios and dealers, Ted has worked with Chick Corea, Dave Brubeck, Cyrus Chestnut, Andre LaPlante, Leonard Bernstein and the Vienna Philharmonic, George Shearing, Philip Glass, The Eagles, Michael Buble, Josh Groban, U2, The Juno Awards, Anagnosan and Kinton, The Gaither Family Reunions, The Gryphon Trio, 

Michel Petrucianni, Buena Vista Social Club, Lyle Lovett, Aretha Franklin, Van Morrison, Billy Graham Crusades, 

Cyrus Chestnut, Gonzala Rubelcaba, Ben Heppner and others.

For more than 30 years Ted has worked in tandem with Rob O’Brien now at the shop in Caledon. Together they bring 75 years of experience and between them manage all facets of piano maintenance and repairs: from soundboard, bridge and pinblock replacement to tuning, regulating and final voicing.
